Khagendra Thapa Magar, 18, who stands at 22 inches (56 centimeters) tall, is carried by his father Rup Bahadur Thapa Magar, as he arrives for a meeting with media before leaving for Europe in Katmandu, Nepal, Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010. Magar's family initially filed a claim for the title of the world's shortest man when he was just 14 years old but it was rejected since he was not an adult and there was a chance he might grow, said Min Bahadur Ranamagar, of the Khagendra Thapa Magar Foundation. Magar turned 18 in October 2009.
